Nine Line does everything right! The BBQ is always amazing, and the service never disappoints. As a US Army veteran I love that this place honors all that serve and it’s important to not forget the sacrifices our service men and woman make. It’s also Important to boost up our veterans that have the courage to venture out and start a business. If your local of visiting Amarillo get out and try this place you will not be disappointed.
This place did not disappoint! Dry rub on the ribs....no need for sauce!! So tender, moist and delicious...fell off the bone! Brisket was tender and moist! Slaw, potato salad and beans all excellent! The owner, John, was a lot of fun to chat with as he gave us samples to try and shared his story! This place is so worth trying and it won't disappoint you! Thanks John, it was all EXCELLENT!!
We were passing through town a bit late, so we ordered takeout. They were out of ribs and brisket, so we ordered Sausage, Chicken, and Pulled Pork, with Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Coleslaw, & Potato Salad. Food was very good and the BBQ sauce was great. Even better was the young man who took care of us. He was so respectful and told me a little about the owner who served in the military and supports all branches of the U.S. military.
Sorry, I dove in before I took a picture. This was absolutely delicious and there beans and Mac was perfect addition to the protein! Will stop again! Support the veterans!
I live right behind 9 Line and have never tried it, but smell the smoke every morning going to work. Service was very fast and friendly. Got the 2 meat with coleslaw , which I mis- ordered, meant to get the potato salad. Don't like cole- slaw but this was dang tasty. The other dish was The Medic!! Smoked mac n cheese with pulled pork on top. This was just way to good. They also have a smoked meat loaf, haven't tried yet, but heard it is amazing! Will update. Stop in and see then. Monday is meatloaf day at least i still think it is. Go see them won't be disappointed!!
The Ribs are by far the best I’ve had! Great tasting BBQ, Driving by from Houston Tx we definitely picked the right place to stop for BBQ. Will def be back next time we’re in town! 10/10 recommend the Ribs brisket and Jalapeno Cheese Sausage! Owner was nice enough to give us a sample of it!
Very rustic/homey vibe. Funny signage all around. Food is excellent. We got the brisket burnt ends appetizer (delicious!), the family combo with all the sides, and the banana pudding dessert. Everything was high quality, appropriate temperature, and very tasty. Highly recommend the Jalapeno cheddar sausage. Only one server at the time, but he was attentive and friendly. We never felt neglected. Will definitely return!
First time here. It did not disappoint. We got in just in the knock of time to get burnt ends and pulled pork !! Husband ordered burnt ends. I ordered 3 meat plate. Sliced brisket. Pulled pork. Ribs. Sides mac n cheese and bbq beans. And of course we had the banana pudding. 1. The staff was super nice 2. The staff hustles !!! These folks move fast. Ain’t no slow motion going on around here. 3. Food was great. 4. Great veteran vibe. Thank you for your service !! We will be back.
